Bringing Dignity to the Table

Posted on 23 May 202323 May 2023 by Admin

No-Stone Foundation and Dailybread Community Sustenance Project at No-Stone House

No sooner had we finished limewashing the quad, did Jo and her inimitable team move in. Young and old had somewhere not only to get sustenance but to sit down in safety and dignity. This is a huge step for us at No-Stone, as our main core and drive is to lift the way that individuals see themselves, to offer them hope and possibility, and then guide them through that hope to possibility.

At the heart of the No-Stone Foundation lies an unwavering commitment to transforming lives and empowering individuals. It is a place where hope and possibility converge, where dignity takes center stage. Through the Dailybread Community Sustenance Project, No-Stone Foundation brings a new level of dignity to the table, providing nourishment and support within the walls of No-Stone House.

No-Stone House, a sanctuary of compassion and inclusivity, serves as the backdrop for the Dailybread Community Sustenance Project. Within its warm and welcoming atmosphere, individuals find not just a meal but also a renewed sense of self-worth. The limewashed quad, meticulously prepared by the No-Stone Foundation, serves as a visual representation of the fresh start and dignity that awaits those who enter.

Led by the passionate advocate Jo-Anne, the Dailybread Community Sustenance Project goes beyond the basic provision of food. It aims to nourish both bodies and spirits, recognizing the inherent dignity of every individual. Within No-Stone House, individuals of all ages gather, not only to satisfy their hunger but also to forge connections and find solace in a community that values their worth.

A Gathering Place for Hope: No-Stone House becomes more than just a venue for meals. It becomes a gathering place where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and hope is ignited. Within this supportive community, individuals are encouraged to see themselves in a new light, one that illuminates a path towards a brighter future.

No-Stone Foundation’s unwavering commitment to dignity is what sets the Dailybread Community Sustenance Project apart. By fostering an environment of respect and compassion, the project serves as a catalyst for positive change. Volunteers and supporters rally around the cause, driven by a shared belief in the transformative power of dignity and nourishment.

A Ripple Effect: As the Dailybread Community Sustenance Project flourishes within No-Stone House, its impact extends beyond its walls. It inspires other communities to embrace similar initiatives, creating a ripple effect of dignity and compassion. No-Stone Foundation’s dedication to uplifting lives serves as a beacon of hope, spreading the message that everyone deserves nourishment, safety, and dignity.

Bringing dignity to the table is at the core of No-Stone Foundation’s Dailybread Community Sustenance Project. Within the welcoming embrace of No-Stone House, individuals find nourishment for their bodies and souls, reigniting their sense of self-worth and forging a path towards a brighter future. As the project thrives, it exemplifies the transformative power of compassion and community, lifting lives and nurturing communities one meal at a time.

No-Stone House

Has moved to Skool Street. Come and see Saskia's Place, the library or come and watch the reading programmes take place. OR if you would like to sit in at Jo's Cafe' a place of safety where young people can just come and be. We will start soon with out Saturday morning programmes.

Our Team

The team has a mix of youth and experience, energy and wisdom. The bulk of the team live in Kalbaskraal. Again, this is headed up by Heike (with 24 yrs of outreach ministry experience) and Mark (40 yrs of coaching at various levels and sports). We can then add Jo-Anne with her 30 years of ministry and outreach.

Our Relationships

We have strong relationships with many ministries and companies. Each supporting us in various ways and in Kalbaskraal and out. Our prime focus is to be a complete service provider for the local primary school OJ Erasmus, and sourcing any resources that they require. Keep in mind that this is a model we are building to move onto other rural schools in the Swartland.
