No-Stone in collaboration with Arbor Vitae Designs teaches people how to use common everyday tools, provides them with the wood required and then helps them build small wooden products. One of the tasks of AVD is to find a market or client, then make sure the person being taught how to do it, makes the products to the highest standard and charges a small percentage for consumables, but the person then has a client and they facilitate the builds. Sometimes work is found and sadly sometimes it is not. So while the person is learning, they also receive a daily wage.
