Join No-Stone Foundation in Overcoming Economic and Social Hardship in Kalbaskraal

Posted on 26 February 202326 February 2023 by Admin

Kalbaskraal,  a rural village near Malmesbury, faces significant economic and social challenges that impact its residents’ health and well-being. High unemployment rates and a lack of economic opportunities exacerbate financial hardship, contributing to a sense of hopelessness and despair among community members.

Limited access to resources and services, such as food, healthcare, and sanitation, adds to the daily struggles that many community members face. These hardships can be linked to other issues, such as poor education outcomes and a lack of social cohesion.

Crime is also a significant challenge in Kalbaskraal. Theft and dishonesty are common, and community members may feel unsafe walking alone or leaving their homes unattended. Crime can also make it difficult for those who are trying to make a positive impact in the community.

Moreover, the village’s leadership is fractured and lacks unity, which contributes to the difficulty of achieving meaningful change. This lack of unity also extends to the many churches in Kalbaskraal, which are rudderless and have little or no cohesion.

No-Stone Foundation recognizes the importance of unity in both the church and the community. One of our major focuses is to bring together the many churches in Kalbaskraal and encourage them to work collaboratively towards shared goals. By fostering this sense of community and collaboration, No-Stone hopes to help Kalbaskraal’s residents create positive change and overcome the challenges they face.

But No-Stone can’t do it alone. We need your help to make a real impact in Kalbaskraal. By joining our foundation, you can help us bring unity to the village and create opportunities for economic and social development. Together, we can work to overcome poverty, crime, and other challenges and build a brighter future for all residents.

There are many ways you can get involved, whether it’s volunteering your time, making a donation, or spreading the word about No-Stone’s work. Every contribution makes a difference, and we need everyone’s support to make a lasting impact.

Kalbaskraal needs our help to overcome these challenges and create a brighter future for all residents. Join No-Stone Foundation today and become part of the movement to transform Kalbaskraal

Our Team

The team has a mix of youth and experience, energy and wisdom. The bulk of the team live in Kalbaskraal. Again, this is headed up by Heike (with 24 yrs of outreach ministry experience) and Mark (40 yrs of coaching at various levels and sports). We can then add Jo-Anne with her 30 years of ministry and outreach.

Our Relationships

We have strong relationships with many ministries and companies. Each supporting us in various ways and in Kalbaskraal and out. Our prime focus is to be a complete service provider for the local primary school OJ Erasmus, and sourcing any resources that they require. Keep in mind that this is a model we are building to move onto other rural schools in the Swartland.
