Grateful for Heroes of Animal Welfare in Kalbaskraal

Posted on 3 March 20233 March 2023 by Admin

Making a difference, making impact.

We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Jason, Linzi, and Keegan from Choccolate’s Angels Animal Rescue, Kerry, a retired vet, and Janeke, the state vet, for their outstanding efforts in helping animals in need. The No-Stone Foundation is proud to have Choccolate’s Angels as an associate ministry, and we are honored to work alongside such selfless individuals.

On March 1st, Jason’s birthday, the Choccolate’s Angels Animal Rescue team organized a free rabies and deworming campaign, as well as distributing food parcels to nearly 250 animals in the village of Kalbaskraal. Their dedication and unwavering commitment to animal welfare are truly remarkable.

Despite facing challenges and difficulties, Jason, Linzi, and Keegan remain steadfast in their mission to help animals in need. Their kindness and compassion towards animals are truly inspiring, and their tireless efforts have made a significant impact in the lives of animals in Kalbaskraal and the surrounding areas.

We recognize that the abuse and mistreatment of animals in poverty-stricken rural areas is a harsh reality that we must confront. However, with people like Jason, Linzi, Keegan, Kerry, and Janeke, who are willing to go above and beyond to help animals, we can make a difference.

The No-Stone Foundation is committed to supporting Choccolate’s Angels and their incredible work. We want to ensure them that we will continue to provide them with the necessary resources and support to carry out their vital mission.

In conclusion, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to Jason, Linzi, Keegan, Kerry, and Janeke for their remarkable work and dedication to animal welfare. They are true heroes, and we are proud to work alongside them as we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.

No-Stone House

Has moved to Skool Street. Come and see Saskia's Place, the library or come and watch the reading programmes take place. OR if you would like to sit in at Jo's Cafe' a place of safety where young people can just come and be. We will start soon with out Saturday morning programmes.

Our Team

The team has a mix of youth and experience, energy and wisdom. The bulk of the team live in Kalbaskraal. Again, this is headed up by Heike (with 24 yrs of outreach ministry experience) and Mark (40 yrs of coaching at various levels and sports). We can then add Jo-Anne with her 30 years of ministry and outreach.

Our Relationships

We have strong relationships with many ministries and companies. Each supporting us in various ways and in Kalbaskraal and out. Our prime focus is to be a complete service provider for the local primary school OJ Erasmus, and sourcing any resources that they require. Keep in mind that this is a model we are building to move onto other rural schools in the Swartland.
