No-Stone Foundation Launches Cat Sanctuary in Kalbaskraal
In a world of darkness, in a community plagued by the effects of theft, violence, and abuse, a beacon of hope has emerged. That beacon is Hannah’s Haven, the cat sanctuary launched by the brilliant and dedicated Hannah, at No-Stone House.
Hannah, along with her fearless team, Noleen and Annemie, saw the need for a safe and loving home for cats in need, as well as a place of solace and community for the people of Kalbaskraal who have experienced the impact of poverty, unemployment, and the aforementioned issues.
For years, Kalbaskraal has been struggling with significant socioeconomic issues, but Hannah and her team had a vision for creating a sanctuary that would provide comfort and joy to both cats and humans alike.
Hannah’s Haven is more than just a cat sanctuary. It’s a symbol of hope and resilience, a testament to the power of one person’s vision and the strength of a community working together to combat the effects of theft, violence, and abuse. As Hannah puts it, “We might not be able to change the world, but we can make a difference in our little corner of it.”
With the support of No-Stone Foundation and the unwavering dedication of Hannah, Noleen, Annemie, and the many volunteers who helped make this project possible, Hannah’s Haven is poised to become a shining light in the community. It’s a place of sanctuary and solace for cats in need and a reminder that, even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
Thanks to the incredible support of No-Stone Foundation and partners, Hannah’s Haven is now a reality. This cat sanctuary is not only a testament to the tireless dedication of Hannah and her team but also to the unwavering commitment of AVD, the No-Stone woodwork team, The Daily Bread Feeding team, and the numerous volunteers who contributed their time, energy, and resources to bring this project to life.
Although there were no cats at the launch, the Hi Tea and hat party held at No-Stone House was an epic celebration filled with laughter, friendship, and the sense of possibility. It was a reminder of the challenges that Kalbaskraal faces and the importance of coming together to create positive change.
We applaud Hannah, Noleen, and Annemie, as well as the No-Stone Foundation, AVD, the Daily Bread feeding program, and all the volunteers who made this project a reality. Together, we can create a brighter future for Kalbaskraal and communities like it. Join us in supporting Hannah’s Haven and the No-Stone Foundation. Let’s make a difference, one cat at a time.
