The No-Stone House: A Nexus Point for Community Empowerment

Posted on 17 May 202317 May 2023 by Admin

The No-Stone House Unites Kalbaskraal, Catalyzing Community Transformation

The No-Stone House, located in the heart of Rural Kalbaskraal’s main road, has become a symbol of community empowerment and collective action. This initiative, created by The No Stone Foundation, aims to provide a space that serves as a hub for ventures, NGOs, and individuals committed to enriching the lives of villagers.

The No-Stone House has attracted a variety of initiatives, including healthcare services, education programs, cultural activities, and support programs. By housing these various endeavors, the No-Stone House creates a sense of community and accessibility. It fosters collaboration and innovation, encouraging the sharing of resources and ideas for the betterment of Rural Kalbaskraal.

One notable initiative that has found a home within the No-Stone House is the Right to Care organization, a leading healthcare non-profit that provides medical services to the public. The Right to Care organization uses the No-Stone House to provide medical services and distribute medicines to elderly folk, ensuring that they have access to the care they need.

The No-Stone House serves as the perfect location for the Right to Care organization, as it enables them to carry out their mission of providing medical care to those who need it most. By utilizing the space, the No-Stone House becomes a central location for distributing medicines and providing healthcare services, ensuring that the elderly in Rural Kalbaskraal have access to the care they need.

In addition to the Right to Care organization, the No-Stone House has also become home to the Daily Bread feeding scheme, an initiative that provides nutritious meals to 400 elderly folk and school children in the community. By offering a space for this vital service, the No-Stone House becomes a catalyst for positive change, addressing the basic needs of the most vulnerable members of Rural Kalbaskraal.

The impact of the No-Stone House on the lives of villagers is evident through the various initiatives that have found a home within its walls. It provides a safe and inclusive environment where residents can access vital services, receive nourishment, and connect with others in the community.

As the No-Stone House continues to grow and evolve, it will continue to welcome ventures, NGOs, and individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Rural Kalbaskraal’s residents. The No-Stone House stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion, and community-driven initiatives. Together, we can create a future where all members of Rural Kalbaskraal have access to the services, nourishment, and support they need to thrive.

No-Stone House

Has moved to Skool Street. Come and see Saskia's Place, the library or come and watch the reading programmes take place. OR if you would like to sit in at Jo's Cafe' a place of safety where young people can just come and be. We will start soon with out Saturday morning programmes.

Our Team

The team has a mix of youth and experience, energy and wisdom. The bulk of the team live in Kalbaskraal. Again, this is headed up by Heike (with 24 yrs of outreach ministry experience) and Mark (40 yrs of coaching at various levels and sports). We can then add Jo-Anne with her 30 years of ministry and outreach.

Our Relationships

We have strong relationships with many ministries and companies. Each supporting us in various ways and in Kalbaskraal and out. Our prime focus is to be a complete service provider for the local primary school OJ Erasmus, and sourcing any resources that they require. Keep in mind that this is a model we are building to move onto other rural schools in the Swartland.
