Snoek Braai

Posted on 8 May 20238 May 2023 by Admin

At No-Stone Foundation, we are always looking for ways to support our community and show our appreciation for those who dedicate their time and efforts to helping others. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting and spoiling the hardworking volunteers of the Daily Bread Feeding Scheme, one of our valued associate partners.

The Daily Bread Feeding Scheme provides food to the underprivileged members of our community, and we wanted to give their volunteers a well-deserved break and a chance to relax and enjoy themselves. We invited them to No-Stone House for a Snoek braai, a traditional South African BBQ, and a chance to connect with our team and other volunteers.

Donna and Gerswin from No-Stone went above and beyond to make the volunteers feel at home, serving up a delicious meal and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our guests were able to kick back, relax, and enjoy their meal in our own little Oasis, a place of safety.

We would like to give a special shoutout to Donna and Gerswin from No-Stone for their amazing work in serving the Daily Bread crew. Their passion and dedication to making a difference is truly inspiring.

At No-Stone Foundation, we believe that supporting our community starts with supporting each other. We are proud to work with amazing organizations like Daily Bread Feeding Scheme and to be part of a network of individuals and groups who share our vision of a better world for all. Thank you to all the volunteers who make a difference in our community every day. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are honored to call you our partners.

No-Stone House

Has moved to Skool Street. Come and see Saskia's Place, the library or come and watch the reading programmes take place. OR if you would like to sit in at Jo's Cafe' a place of safety where young people can just come and be. We will start soon with out Saturday morning programmes.

Our Team

The team has a mix of youth and experience, energy and wisdom. The bulk of the team live in Kalbaskraal. Again, this is headed up by Heike (with 24 yrs of outreach ministry experience) and Mark (40 yrs of coaching at various levels and sports). We can then add Jo-Anne with her 30 years of ministry and outreach.

Our Relationships

We have strong relationships with many ministries and companies. Each supporting us in various ways and in Kalbaskraal and out. Our prime focus is to be a complete service provider for the local primary school OJ Erasmus, and sourcing any resources that they require. Keep in mind that this is a model we are building to move onto other rural schools in the Swartland.
